Other flags with red, blue or yellow or all of red, blue and yellow at once.
How it is put together
Measured off the picture, the same way the colours were, not from anybody's description of it.
- 3 horizontal bands
The fly edge changes colour going down, the foot does not, and every change is a straight line right across.
What is on it
Each of these is what this flag's own Wikipedia article says is on it, the sentence is underneath, so you can see what it rests on.
- coat of arms

What we know about it
First adopted by law in 1835 and again on 26 September 1860, the flag was finished in 1900, when the coat of arms was added at the centre. The yellow band is half the width of the flag and the blue and red a quarter each. Miranda ascribed the colours to Goethe's theory of primary colours, after a conversation at a party in Weimar in the winter of 1785; without the coat of arms, the flag matches Colombia's in every aspect.

Its day
The almanac keeps a page per day of the year that something is dated to. This flag is on one of them, with the sentence that says so.
Nearest in the world
Every flag is compared with every other one, off the pictures themselves. Two copies of one picture score 0; these are the closest to this one. How that is measured.
The Gran Colombia Trio
Flags people genuinely mix up. Worth a second look.
