- #002b7f
- #f9e814
Other flags with blue or yellow or all of blue and yellow at once.
How it is put together
Measured off the picture, the same way the colours were, not from anybody's description of it.
- 3 horizontal bands
The fly edge changes colour going down, the foot does not, and every change is a straight line right across.
What is on it
Each of these is what this flag's own Wikipedia article says is on it, the sentence is underneath, so you can see what it rests on.
- star
The flag is a blue field with a horizontal yellow stripe slightly below the midline and two white, five-pointed stars in the canton.

What we know about it
Aruba adopted a flag of its own while both were still part of the Netherlands Antilles, and in 1979 Curaçao received approval for one: two thousand designs went to a special council, which shortlisted ten and decided on 29 November 1982; the flag, with some modifications, was adopted on 2 July 1984. The blue is the sea and the sky, divided by a yellow stroke for the bright sun that bathes the island; the two stars are Curaçao and Klein Curaçao, and the five points on each stand for the five continents from which Curaçao's people descend.

Its day
The almanac keeps a page per day of the year that something is dated to. This flag is on one of them, with the sentence that says so.
Nearest in the world
Every flag is compared with every other one, off the pictures themselves. Two copies of one picture score 0; these are the closest to this one. How that is measured.
