- #012169
- #ffffff
- #c8102e
Other flags with red, white or blue or all of red, white and blue at once.
How it is put together
Measured off the picture, the same way the colours were, not from anybody's description of it.
- a single-coloured ground
The fly edge and the foot are one colour, and the same one, whatever else is drawn on top of it.
- a canton
A rectangle in the top corner by the pole that is not what the rest of the flag is, and that stops cleanly on both its sides.
What is on it
Each of these is what this flag's own Wikipedia article says is on it, the sentence is underneath, so you can see what it rests on.
- coat of arms
The national flag of Anguilla, a British overseas territory, consists of a Blue Ensign with the British flag in the canton, charged with the coat of arms of Anguilla in the fly.

What we know about it
Other than as part of Saint Christopher-Nevis-Anguilla, this is the island's third flag. Its first was a red flag featuring the name of the island and two mermaids inside a blue oval; widely disliked, it gave way during Anguilla's brief period of independence to the Dolphin Flag, which is still widely seen around the island. Unity, strength and endurance are what the three dolphins stand for; peace is the white behind them, and the light blue is the sea, as well as faith, youth and hope.
Drafted from Flag of Anguilla on Wikipedia, as it read on 2026-08-26, and checked back against it: every date, name and number above appears in the sentences it was written from. Nobody here wrote it by hand.
Nearest in the world
Every flag is compared with every other one, off the pictures themselves. Two copies of one picture score 0; these are the closest to this one. How that is measured.
