Other flags with red, white or blue or all of red, white and blue at once.
How it is put together
Measured off the picture, the same way the colours were, not from anybody's description of it.
- 3 horizontal bands
The fly edge changes colour going down, the foot does not, and every change is a straight line right across.
What is on it
Each of these is what this flag's own Wikipedia article says is on it, the sentence is underneath, so you can see what it rests on.
- star
The emblem on the obverse side is the national seal of Paraguay: a yellow five-pointed star surrounded by a green wreath of palm and olive leaves tied with ribbons of the colour of the stripes, and capped by the words REPUBLICA DEL PARAGUAY ("Republic of Paraguay" in Spanish), all within two concentric circles).

What we know about it
It is the only national flag worldwide with a different design on each side: the obverse carries the national seal of Paraguay and the reverse the seal of the treasury, a difference that comes from the period when José de Francia was in power. First adopted in 1842, the triband was revised in 2013 towards its original design; the colours are believed to be inspired by the flag of France, to show independence and liberty.

Nearest in the world
Every flag is compared with every other one, off the pictures themselves. Two copies of one picture score 0; these are the closest to this one. How that is measured.
