How it is put together
Nothing the measurement has a word for. It reads eight shapes off a picture: bands, a canton, a wedge at the pole, a disc. This flag is not any of them, so the space is left empty rather than filled with a description nobody took. The finder says what else it cannot see.

Maroon (from local sun-darkened red dye) and white, joined by a nine-point serrated line for the ninth Trucial signatory.
The only national flag more than twice as wide as it is tall.
